Steve and I saw the survivors of the 82 fighter group talk about their experiences flying the Lightnings in Europe and North Africa, and cruised all over the airport in a 1968 Chiang Jiang sidecar rig and a golfcart. Thanks Jim and Rick!
though I proclaim to have a need for hearing music I've never heard before, I often do let weird little prejudices interfere with hearing some bands' music. Take Cradle of Filth for example. Heard the name, seen some images at Hot Topic...kinda wrote 'em off as a "Mall Metal" band. Well, today I'm gonna listen to 'em. Campy so far, but there are some redeeming aspects too so far. Any suggestions on what to listen to?
being fond of the space shuttle program MY ENTIRE LIFE, I'm all set for an emotional experience today when they try to push the last one into orbit. I think the subtitle of my blog applies to the shuttle as well. If all goes well, they plan on parking Endeavour at the museum of science and industry here in L.A.! I'm hoping for an edwards AFB landing. here's the link to NASA tv for the launch, planned for 3:47pm FL time; 12:47pm west coast time yo:
